A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?
I am a highly experienced, high-profile Voice Coach / Public Speaking trainer based in London, United Kingdom. I provide expert help with all aspects of speech and presentation skills to business professionals and others who may not have had the benefit of training in voice production and performance that people such as actors and broadcasters take for granted. One of the most popular services I offer is private, one-to-one voice coaching for clients who seek help with devising, preparing & performing confident wedding speeches and wedding toasts. This is one aspect of being part of a wedding about which people can become especially anxious! I can help with a wide variety of concerns that may arise when one is asked to make a wedding speech, such as: nerves & how to deal with them; how to project & produce your voice effectively & deliver your speech with flair & panache; how to engage your audience & retain their attention; how to ensure that your "performance" is suitably humorous / entertaining / moving; how to devise & write a speech (if you haven't already done so) that is original, engaging, aptly humorous, appropriate to the occasion, etc.; how to play to your strengths as a speaker and really shine with your speech hence making your own unique, enjoyable and memorable contribution to this special day. (N.B. Through my work in the business community in the UK I work with people from a very wide variety of cultural backgrounds. As a result of this I always operate with a high level of cultural awareness and this helps enormously when it comes to helping people with wedding speeches. What may be appropriate and traditional for one type of wedding may not suit others and I always pay very close attention to this when I am helping my clients with their public speaking requirements.)
