Are you a Bride or know someone getting married: Great bridal Tips from Your Professional Makeup Artist

Are you getting married or know someone who is?
Get your professional bridal makeup artist tips and bridal kit for the big day, rehearsal dinner, and honeymoon!

There are certain tricks that makeup artists use to create your remarkable bridal look. .Want to know how to go from "whatever" to" Wow!"? Professional makeup artists use professional makeup products, professional tools, and professional techniques. Your makeup artist can guide you how to use your products and tools for memorable results.

Tips For Your Great Bridal Makeup

1. Use the right lipstick color. Apply a color that is not too dark nor too brown, that is not too dark, nor too brown. Be sure to tell your makeup artist if your photographs will be in color, black and white, or some of each. The wrong lipstick will photograph even darker against your white dress and the tone can make a bride look depressed. Red lipstick photographs as black in black and white photographs. Who wants black lips for their wedding day photographs? Have your makeup artist take photos after your trial run. Test your colors by taking a photographs in darker lighting to ensure you really like it in various lighting situations.
2. Stay away from shimmering body products. They can photograph in odd ways, that you will not like. It can look like perspiration or give a ghost like appearance.
3. Use makeup primer. Primer refracts the light to give a soft focus look. Primer goes on before foundation and allows makeup colors to stay in place for up to ten hours. This is a "can't live with it " product.
4. For eye liner use a high quality eye shadow instead of a pencil. Good eye shadows can be used wet or dry. When brides get nervous their body temperatures rise; a wax pencil will melt and will be unattractive. To maintain your eye shadows, it is important to use a high pigment saturation, quality eyeshadow, that is micro milled , rather than the cheaper shadows that are full of fillers with smaller amounts of pigment and easily move and blow away.
5. Use Mattifying Powder. It keeps the skin of both men and women looking matte and calm, by absorbing up to sixteen times its weight in excessive oil or perspiration. It is great for creating shine-free photos. It will keep both him and her, shine free and will also combat sweaty palms. This is another "can't live with it' products.
6. Professional techniques involve blending your concealer, foundation, shadows, and blush with a triangular sponge and brushes.
7. When working with your makeup artist, as the bride, schedule an hour for your your own makeup application, two hours before the photography session, on the day of your wedding. This will give your makeup artist plenty of time to calmly apply your colors. What is very helpful, is to have your makeup artist record your colors and placement of those colors on your client profile sheet, as well as to take a photographs during your trial run. For your bridesmaids, allow half an hour each for your makeup artist and the assistant to apply their makeup.
8. When putting on your eye shadow, apply and then blend with a sponge and brush. Use a light color on your lid and brow bone, a slightly darker color in the crease and a darker accent color on the outer corner area. Blend the outer corner inward. Keep adding color and then blending until perfect. (It may take a dozen practice sessions to get it right.) At the end put a very pale color on the crest of the lid, to help those eyes really pop. This only works well if the lid does not protrude. To create a bridal, innocent look, gold, lilac,or pink metallic liner can bring light to the eye, when applied to the lash line.
9. Consider using a light refracting highlighter to accent the inner corner of your eyes. It gives a sparkle to your eyes in your photos and makes you look well rested. Highlighter is "a must have product." Highlighter looks great for creating prominent cheek bones as well. If you love the new soft focus looks you are seeing on the red carpet, then this is a "must have product".
10. Get your Bridal Kit. It has all the products and step by step instructions from your makeup artist, for you and your bridesmaids .
11. Use the products that your makeup artist used in your trial run to create a dramatic bridal look for your rehearsal dinner and while on your honeymoon. Professional makeup artist create a client profile sheet for you, that records your products so that it is easy to recreate the same great look on your wedding day.
12. Practice using your client profile and instructions that your makeup artist provides for your special look, so that you will look great during your engagement, and during your honeymoon, as a new bride.

By following the professional tips and tricks from your makeup artist, you will not only have a remarkable look for your wedding day photographs, but you will have a great look to start your life as a newly married bride. After all, your groom is your date for life!
