Hello,

I am really excited to get the event industry networking group going. I was hoping to start it in April however I entered my company in a competition and dates for finalist and presenters have been up in the air. I will hold the first meeting in May. Jason Groupp, photographer had offered to host the event at his studio in Chelsea http://www.jasongroupp.com/. The first meeting will be Thursday May 7th, 2009 at 6:30.

At the first meeting we will get to know each other and be setting an agenda for future meetings. Nothing is set in stone so we can talk about meetings dates, location, and future topics.

Email or call me if you have other industry friends who would like to join. I will be providing drinks and goodies. If you could please RSVP by May 2, 2009, I would like to give Jason a head count.

I hope everyone will be able to join!!!

Hello Tammy,

Great to have you here! Thank you for being one of the first members of this exciting new community. So let’s get this party started! Feel free to invite other Brides, Vendors, and Twitter Followers. You can promote your business by starting your own BridalTweet Blog, Discussion, or Group. You may want to join the New York Group. Or, just get to know your fellow BridalTweet members by browsing some profiles or by searching for members who share your interests. Add friends and start twittering with people who are truly passionate about weddings.

I'll do my absolute best to bring more people to the community over the next few weeks, so please keep checking back. If there is anything that I can do for you, please let me know.
