A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?: The Hitch is a New York City-based wedding venue discovery platform with a single focus: introduce modern, mobile technology to the wedding industry. We want to eliminate fruitless Google searches, phonebook-like databases, and spotty, out-of-date venue websites.

At its core, the Hitch is platform that allows newly-engaged couples to discover and book high-quality wedding venues around the world. We’re focused on clean aesthetics and transparent information: straightforward venue pricing, answered FAQs, listed amenities, and bright and illustrative imagery, not to mention powerful search engine optimization.

Since our November beta debut, we’ve added venues in almost 40 states, Europe, and the Caribbean. They range from the globally recognized — see the Modern Honolulu — to the local (for us, of course), like the Wythe Hotel. Our users are generating just under 20,000 profile views per month, using their dashboards to save and keep notes on their favorites, and booking viewings with our one-click contact buttons.
