Boxted Hall is a glorious 14th century historic moated house that offers a beautiful and serene setting for private functions, relaxing informal breaks, and romantic wedding receptions. It is surrounded by 200 acres of undulating parkland and woodland, and a further 1,000 acres of arable land.

It remains a private residence where we allow only one booking at a time, so we can guarantee total exclusivity, privacy and complete attention to detail. Being totally surrounded by the moat, with access only across a bridge which is locked at night, it also offers tight security. Within 2 hours from central London and one hour from Stansted Airport, Boxted is easily accessible at any time of the year for your enjoyment and comfort.
