A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?

Who is Valerie G.?
My full name is Valerie Gibson. I happily married my husband, Kelsey, May 2010 in our home state, Florida. He is in the military so we move around a lot. Some people think this is a negative, but I love it! I have worked as a photographer in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia. Now we are living in Southern California!

How did you get started?
I started my photography career as a freelance photographer for a local newspaper. I have since taken my photojournalism style and combined it with a modern, fashionable twist.

Who inspires your work?
No photographer is the sole inspiration for my style. I look to photographers from the past and present to guide my eye. Some of those photographers include:
