A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?: Wanda Nunez is a 28 year old Dominican native currently residing in New York City. She is married to Luis Nunez. She has two younger brothers named Wendy & Luis, her lovely mother Dignorah, and her father Luis de los Santos Gomez who all reside in New York City as well. She is currently working for the Department of Education.

Wanda graduated from Norman Thomas High School in January 2002 and earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Hofstra University at Hempstead, NY in August 2006.

She has worked for various companies, which all have been to help families & teenagers through counseling. Following her dream to turn her hobby into a business, she earned her Wedding Planning & Event Coordinator Certification from the Wedding Planning Institute (WPI) on December 20, 2011.

In her spare time, Wanda enjoys attending Christian seminars, spreading the love of God, reading, shopping, and spending time with her family. She attends church at Puerta de Paz (Door of Peace) church in Cranford, New Jersey and helps in the ministry with the pre-adolescent.

"I became a Wedding Planner because it has always been my passion. I am currently working in launching my business for Summer 2012. My wedding will be my first portfolio. I love what I do because it keeps me in tune with trends and interacting with people. I am a people person and love to help and empower them. I became interested in the business from a young age, when I planned my own birthday parties at home and when I began to do it in the real word by helping & planning different types of functions at my church. Being a Wedding Planner enables me to give back to my community through my unique and affordable ideas, as well as spread the gospel of Jesus Christ along the way!"

I have also volunteered at Couture Fashion Week as an Usher for VIP seatings and Press. I also volunteer as the Event Assistant Coordinator at United Colors of Fashion also for Dominican Sunday, Inc and Operation PROM's NYC Prom Dress and I will be volunteering at Fashion Week Sept. 2012.
