We were at a wedding recently and they did a really fun thing to include the guests as part of the wedding ceremony. Now, keep in mind that this was a small wedding and I don't think it would work for a very large one. What they did was called a "Ring Warming". The wedding rings are passed around to all the guests so that the guests can "warm" the rings between their hands and, while they do, they make wishes for the couple.
