4 Ways to Personalize your Wedding with Flowers and to Keep it Simple

A wedding is a special day for the Bride and Groom, family and
friends. Ideally, all the elements should come together to create
a wondrous, beautiful, intimate special effect that will be remembered
for years to come.
But, easily 85% of the brides I have worked with have stated that
they want to keep it SIMPLE. Yet, when family and friends get
into the decision-making process, SIMPLE can quickly vanish from
the radar screen.
I have come up with 4 ways to personalize your wedding with
flowers and to Keep it Simple in the process...
1. Choose 2 wedding colors (some brides use three) that reflect
your personality and taste, not those of your mother or your
bridesmaids. Make sure that these colors are practical, easy to secure
and are colors that actually complement each other.
2. Don't use too many different types of flowers. You don't want
things to look cluttered and you don't want to confuse the eye of
the observer.
3. Don't use only one type of flower and in only one shade.
It will look simple and it can be elegant, but make sure that
such a stringent monochromatic approach will work for you.
4. Buck the trend! You don't have to be trendy and do what
everybody else is doing. Dare to be different, but with an eye
to simplicity.

If you follow these rules, and hook up with a good floral designer
that has heart and vision, you will have the floral element of
your wedding all wrapped up.
