Carolyn and Paul were married September 25, 2010 at a very unique venue- University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. They held their ceremony outside in the courtyard with their dinner in the Rotunda. However, they moved into the Egyptian room for their dancing, cocktails, and cake. The whole place was awesome. and Carolyn looked like a movie star!
We were able to do most of the family shots and some of the bridal party shots before the ceremony. this allowed us to move more quickly through the remaining combination family shots (the bride and groom did not see each other before the ceremony). The big star though of the picture taking was Tron. Tron is their bulldog and wore a special tutu for the occasion! She was totally excited to see her parents and seemed to love being a part of their BIG day!! and being that I LOVE animals- I was especially psyched.

One cool thing about the Penn Museum is all the great places to take photos. There is this great cubby area tucked in between two of the sections- this allowed for great outside shots and total privacy. My favorite thing about this reception was that the meal was served home-style. It was really cool to sit with some of their family members and just passing the food around and sharing stories, It was so personal. Looking around the guests really seemed to enjoy it as well. We noticed that it seemed to really bring the folks at the table together- and the food was Fantastic!!!

Carolyn and Paul are really fun people and their wedding was a perfect reflection of this. We wish them years of love and adventure-and thank them and their families for allowing us to capture such important memories!
