Making a short first (and second, etc.) anniversary film as a next chapter for the wedding film will continue to document a marriage for future generations. Couples can then look back on how their marriage has blossomed over the years.

This is a cool idea. I don't use film but I use photos to create PhotoShows (dvd: photos + movement + music).

The beauty of filming (whether digital or real film) is the ability to capture dialogue. I love asking the couple questions about their relationship - how it's changed over the years, how they've deepened in love, etc. Particularly after a couple has been married for a long time, they are full of commentary on one another and their relationship, as well as what makes for a good marriage.
