Beauty Tips You Need to Follow in your 20s

When you are in your 20s life is no lesser than a roller coaster. Right from picking up the right career to studies or other fulfilling other responsibilities you have a lot to do and you tend to ignore your skin as the result of which your skin begins to lose its charm and your skin begins to age pre-maturely. Given here are certain beauty tips using which you can keep your skin healthy and glowing.

  • Sun block is the first and the foremost thing which you need to include. The harmful ultra-violet rays of the sun can cause undue damage to your skin. Exposure to the sun can make your skin twice as faster. So, never go out without applying a good sun screen lotion.

  • There are physical sun blocks like zinc or titanium oxide that protects the skin from the harmful rays of sun.
  • A regular clean up like hydra-facial is a great option. But, make sure not to expose your skin to bleach, chemicals or facial massage etc. Also, chemical peels are not a good option for the people in their 20s. Strictly stick to only the mild peels and do it in 4-6 weeks only.

  • Drink at least 4-5 liters of water daily. Make it your habit. This will flush toxins out of your body naturally and gives you clean and clear skin.

  • The sunscreen that you use should be of SPF 20 plus and you should apply it at least 15 minutes before stepping out in sun.

  • Do not wash your face more than thrice a day as it robs natural moisture of your skin and turns your skin.

  • Make it a point to clean your skin before going to bed. After cleansing your face and other exposed parts, you need to apply warm coconut/almond oil that can hydrate your skin thoroughly.

  • There is nothing like aloe-vera for your skin. It heals, soothes and nourishes your skin. If you have acne scars they can also be also be cleared with the regular application of Aloe-vera gel.


Pay a special care to give at least 20 minutes to the aerobics. This will not only helps you keep fit but would keep your skin healthy as well. The right eating habits and lifestyle begin to show on your skin. Make it a habit to incorporate antioxidants in your daily diet. Fresh fruits, green veggies and green tea are some of the must-haves, apart from following the above given beauty tips.
