Big Day Dos and Don'ts for the Wedding Day

DOS:

1.Do make sure you match your foundation to the three points of your face: your forehead, the center of your face and jawline. Every other make up choice is based on the correct matching of your foundation.

2.Do remember to exfoliate your lips and follow all the exfoliation with a hydrating lip conditioner before adding any lip color. The Satin Lips Set is perfect for this! Prepping your lips is especially important when wearing bold lip colors that draw attention to your lips.

3.Do prep, prime and seal your make up for added longevity on your big day. This is one of the most important things you can do for yourself, and Mary Kay Foundation Primer Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 is a great step for this step!

DONT'S:

1.Don't go too dark on your eyebrows. Many people think they have to color match their hair color exactly, but the key is to go slightly lighter on your brows if your hair is natural dark and slightly darker on your brows if your hair is light. Mary Kay Brow Definer Pencil and Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color both have great shades for filling in eyebrows.

2.Don't powder your entire face. There is something beautiful about naturally glowing skin. The key is to balance the shine. Add a face powder such as Mary Kay Sheer Mineral Pressed Powder only along your hot spots (forehead, nose and chin)

3.Don't try a new product or technique on your wedding day that you have never tried it before. Since this is one of the biggest days of your life, consider trying every element of your make up application well in advance of your big day. When you are trying each look in advance, have Mary Kay Oil Free Eye Make up remover handy so you can quickly remove eye make up and start from scratch between looks!
