Couple named 'Mamata Banerjee' and 'Socialism', whose wedding card went viral!

Last week, a wedding card from Tamil Nadu's Salem went massively viral on social media after the names of the couple left netizens wondering if the invite was real or fake.

The card mentioned that a bride named P Mamata Banerjee would marry the groom named AM Socialism on June 13.

The invite also mentioned the names of the groom's elder brothers as AM Communism and AM Leninism.

Later, the family members of the couple confirmed that the wedding invite is real. Socialism is the son of Lenin Mohan, aka A Mohan, who is the district secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) in Salem.

As mentioned in the invitation, the wedding did take place on June 13 (Sunday)in the Salem district of Tamil Nadu.

Socialism and Mamata Banerjee tied the knot at Panaimarathupatti in the presence of state CPI president R Mutharasan, according to reports.
