Dark Brown Outdoor Fall Wedding & A Brown Lace Accented Wedding Dress

Matthew and Ashley had a beautiful fall wedding here at Pine River Ranch and I thought the gorgeous colored lace in Ashley’s wedding dress was like the icing on the cake! It was stunningly beautiful with the fall colors and although I have seen many dresses with colored sashes or details, I thought this dark lace was perfect!

Matthew and Ashley met through mutual friends while attending Central Washington University. They have the “he said, she said version” of how they met but both can agree that they instantly hit it off. That was in February of 2007 and as Ashley says, “It was history from there.”

This first shot was one of my favorites of the bunch because the rubber boots had a personal connection for me! Although my husband and I had a June Wedding it was supposed to rain on our big day and I told my bridesmaids to pack their fancy rubber boots and colorful umbrellas! We didn’t see a drop of rain on our big day and although the skies weren’t always clear and blue for Matthew and Ashley’s Wedding Day the rain stayed away and they were able to have a wonderful outdoor ceremony!

Ashley and Matthew were inspired by the natural beauty of Pine River Ranch for their wedding day and wanted to keep the decorations simple and natural. As a laid back couple they wanted to let the outdoors in and chose a beautiful complement of colors for their wedding day. The brown, green and cream color scheme carried through into a lot of their DYI decorations. Their wedding day was a “family affair” as Ashley says with help from everyone making their floral arrangements, boutonnières, pies, chocolate truffles and more.

The Grooms favorite part of their wedding day was, of course, the food! They had County Boys BBQ from Cashmere do the catering with pulled pork, ribs, chicken thighs  and all the sides and supplied their guests with a BBQ goodie bag complete with hand-wipes, toothpick, extra napkin and a plastic bib (which most of their guests wore!)

Matthew and Ashley both agreed that Pine River Ranch allowed them to be themselves and that the wedding was “most certainly US.” Being able to bring a keg or two, enjoy the BBQ, dance, and stay the night right there made their big day perfect.

Vendor Shout Out: “Would TOTALLY recommend all of these people/vendors again!!!”

Safeway did my bouquet and my bridesmaid’s, and we bought bulk to make centerpieces/bounteeries

Plus I used this website for our table runners (the table runners were the best and cheapest way to make Pine River Ranch ‘our wedding place”…plus we got them for like $3) Definitely recommend this (especially in the taffeta crinkle): http://www.tableclothsfactory.com/tablecloths-Table-Linens-Chair-Co...
