Earth-Friendly Wedding Favors Do Double Duty

Many earth-minded brides and grooms choose to forgo the bonbonniere or other traditional wedding favors, and instead honor their guests by making a charitable donation on their behalf. Mina and Randy have decided to make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society and, at the same time, give their guests a little something to remember their big day, as shown here:

In addition to the note to let them know about the donation, their guests will each receive a packet of rose seeds to plant in their own gardens next spring. An old fashioned flower symbolizing love and romance, the Rose is an excellent choice for weddings. It's especially suited for fall and winter weddings, because it requires a cold period before planting.

While wishing Mina and Randy all the best on their wedding day, I invite you to talk to us about custom favors for your upcoming wedding, baptism, bridal or baby shower, birthday party, or other special event.
