Fashion Week Recap: Pearls and Pamper

September is here and its time to celebrate one of our favorite times of the year – Fashion Week!   Besides all of the amazing clothes and trends that were on display on the runway, we were paying close attention to the beautiful and glamorous accessories.  This season, the stylish and classic pearl that has long been a fashionable accessory, took center stage.  Donna Karan designed her entire “Pearls of Wisdom” collection around the gem.   Fashionistas in the New Jersey area can get their pearls, like the ones below, at George Press Jewelers in Livingston.

On September 8^th and 9^th, the Artists Division of Ford Models hosted a pop up Beauty Suite at Gramercy Park Hotel for the who’s who of the fashion industry. Inside the luxurious location, the industry’s top editors, bloggers and designers were pampered to the max by Fords top editorial artists. Hair, makeup, and manicure services were offered and each guest left with a gift bag filled with the season’s top products.

Our very own daughter Jill Press, who works at FORD Artists, was there to share in the excitement!
