Or, you can pick a flower based on what it symbolizes: Azaleas, yellow irises and orchids symbolize passion and romance, Forget-me-nots mean true love, Ivy is the symbol for marriage, Violets are for faithfulness, Tulips are another declaration of love as are red carnations and red chrysanthemums, gloxinia means love at first sight, daisy represents loyal love and dahlia means forever yours. The rose family has a list of meanings as well: the primrose means that I can't live without you, full red roses are for beauty, damask roses are the ambassadors of love, hibiscus roses are for delicate beauty, rosebuds symbolize one who is pure and lovely, a single full bloom rose says "I love you", white roses represent innocence and purity while white and red roses together symbolize unity. So, whatever it is that you would like to say, flowers can say it!
