Guneet Monga wedding invites with DDLJ connection have gone viral on social media.

It’s wedding bells for acclaimed filmmaker Guneet Monga, who is all set to tie the knot with Sunny Kapoor, a Delhi-based businessman. With the wedding taking place on December 12, the invitation card of the Oscar and Bafta nominated filmmaker has surfaced online.

Following the revelation, her wedding invitation is also inspired by the movie after certain elements from the cult hit were added to the same.
Going by the viral card, a train and the ‘sarson ke khet (mustard fields)’ had an important role in bringing the lead SRK and Kajol together in the film. The card has been designed to commemorate Raj and Simran's love story. The prominence of the train in DDLJ was also used in the card which showed two hands holding each other inside a train.

As the wedding festivities kick-started, Guneet took to Instagram and shared a video from her Haldi ceremony. The video was a compilation of all the moments that showed Guneet enjoying time with family while dancing on dhol. She captioned the video and wrote, “#GunSung (sic)”. Since both Monga and Kapoor are Punjabis, the guests and fans can expect a big fat Punjabi wedding with much pomp and show followed by other festivities. Celebrations are just beginning for Guneet Monga as the couple will host their lavish wedding in Mumbai on December 11 and 12 which will be followed by extended functions in Delhi on December 16.
