Heather's Organic Weddings events and design Going Green

Beth and Cory's got Married at Loulu Palm Estate on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii on Friday August 14, 2009. The couple is from Washington State and traveled with all their guests for their destination Wedding Dream.


Getting Ready



Beth's Hair and Make-Up was done by Lisa Fragipane. Lisa started with Beth's Mom and then focused on the Bride. Beth's requested a half up/half down look that complimented her smile all day long.

Lisa Fangipane works with various make-up mediums providing environmentally friendly options upon request.


Heather's Organic Weddings provided the flowers and design elements as well as full wedding planning for this day. The color pallet for this day was Blue and Yellow with accents of Orange. The Calla Lilies came from Oregon Costal Flowers with an array of Orange and Yellow, complimented by Blue Ribbons. Oregon Coastal Flowers has 'local' style earth friendly methods for farming practices.



The ceremony was performed by Uncle Al at 6:00 pm with the processional song being Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole 'IZ' 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow's version, performed live by Mateus Kotok of Indiscript Records. Mateus Performed Acoustic Ukulele for the ceremony and cocktail hour.


The ceremony was rich with symbolism, smiles and deep felt expression.


The Brides choice in colors brought a touch of brilliance to her day.


The License signed, Beth and Cory went off for the Romantic's Photo Session on the beach with Absolutely Loved Photography with Stefanie Riedel and Ana Riedel

The Receptions was a mix of delicious food provided by 21st Parallel Catering and Events, Cake by Paradise Pastries, Music from DJ Pat Miller and Lighting by Heather's Organic Weddings. The videography team from Blue Water Productions danced between Absolutely Loved Photography's artists to capture every detail and exceptional moments.

The Sweet Hearts Chairs were adorned with Orange Calla Lilies and White Dendrobium Leis...


21st Parallel Catering and Events supports local, organic and fair trade practices whenever possible.

The 21st Parallel Catering and Events provided hand passed appetizers for the Cocktail Hour and an open bar with Imported beers and Speciality Wines for the guests enjoyment. The Buffet Style dinner included



Passed Appetizers
Night Dried Tomato Canapés
Slowly roasted seasoned oven Roma tomato’s topped on grilled flatbread drizzled with Crème Friache
Puff Pastry Wheels topped with Prosciutto Ham & Melted Gouda Cheese

Salad
Local Field Greens,
English cucumbers, Roma tomatoes, shredded beets & carrots topped with sunflower seeds
Lilikoi Vinaigrette Dressing, Ranch & Blue Cheese Dressing


Entrees
Chicken Ripiˡeno
Chicken breast stuffed with spinach and Fontina cheese served with an artichoke Marsala butter sauce
Garlic and Rosemary Grilled Sirloin Steak
Marinated sirloin steak seasoned with fresh herbs and spices
Drizzled with a Madera demi glace

Vegetables;
Bundle of white and green beans sautéed in garlic & herb butter

Red Jacket Garlic Mashed Potato’s
Dinner Rolls with Butter

Assorted Fresh Fruits
Fresh Pineapple, Kiwi Fruit, Star Fruit, Honey Dew Melon, and Fresh Berries served with a lime yogurt dressing




The Cake
Paradise Pastries created the cake just to our specifications. The cake was designed after a long conversation with the bride and groom as to the look and color combined with just the right textures. Each Layer was quilted half way up accented by blue pearls and adorned with orange and yellow plumerias for a simple touch of elegance with detail to incorporating both the bride and grooms wishes. Paradise Pastries created our requests smoothly and precisely to our specifications.


The Cake had white fondant icing with Vanilla Cream flavoring, White chocolate cream cheese filling on the top and bottom layers and Chocolate Italian Buttercream filling in the center layer.

The Tent

The tent layout was designed to allow the guests to all see each other and enjoy the focal point of the dance floor and views of the ocean through out the evening.


Orange and Yellow Calla Lilies and Mokara Orchids graced the tables design by Heather's Organic Weddings


The brides choice in the Morkara Orchids and candles offered a perfect splash of color to the night.


Heather's Organic Weddings made this Circus Rose Bouquet a combination of the deep orange, bright yellows and deep blue ribbon. The roses come from Organic Bouquet offering fair trade and veriflora practices.


Loulu Palm Estate was the perfect location for a private romantic wedding day!
