I am not really blue and not really green…what color am I?

You must be the color turquoise! Pantone picked turquoise as 2010’s color of the year. I cannot wait to see all the different palettes that turquoise will be a part of in weddings in 2010!

So is turquoise blue or green or both? Ask a few people and you will get a different answer every time. Here’s the definition from Free Dictionary:

tur·quoise (tûrkwoiz, -koiz) n

1. A blue to blue-green mineral of aluminum and copper, mainly CuAl6(PO4)4(OH)8·4H2O, prized as a gemstone in its polished blue form. (Come again?)

2. A light to brllliant bluish green. (Perfectly explained!)

Turquoise is a brillianty beautiful color that compliments and works well as a cool accent or a vibrant main color in your wedding palette (I love cherry red paired with turquoise for major pizazz!). I used it as a cool accent color in this beach theme muse board created on Style Me Pretty.

At the Beach? Yes, our beach.

In response to the buzz among our brides and planners, mango (orange) & turquoise will be a hot color scheme for 2010 weddings. In response, we have posted the following youtube video: The Best Wedding Reception Color Ideas - Mango (Orange) & Turquoise http://www.youtube.com/user/koyalwholesalecom#p/a/u/0/mkUrWZng1K4
