About the Venue

There are few venues that are as filled with history and romance as the San Francisco Fairmont Hotel. With several ballrooms featuring dramatic ceiling height, rich colors, and beautiful artistry, it is hard to choose which room is the perfect fit for you at this iconic hotel. The hotel is an exquisite example of famed architect Julia Morgan's design work. In 2011, it continues to be a celebrated landmark, and after an $85 million reconstruction, the luxe amenities offered by this world class hotel are endless.

The Fairmont's incredible event spaces are the perfect pairing for a dramatic ballgown and sky-high centerpieces - a Cinderella wedding to match its fairytale interiors. In addition to beautiful indoor spaces, the Fairmont sits perched atop Nob Hill, offering exquisite views of the city and bay. The sweeping views of the city as seen from the outdoor terrace create a breathtaking view for an intimate ceremony of fifty guests.

Ask the Expert

The Fairmont is no place to play the shrinking violet when it comes to design. Play with height on the arrangements, especially in the Venetian Room with its 22' ceilings - a mixture of lush low centerpieces and soaring showstoppers will add interest above eye level. Go theatrical and use tall cascading arrangements filled with exotic roses, orchids, and hydrangea. Gold-rimmed chargers set on top of a warm-toned linen will pop and give great dimension.

Want your guests to be awed by the staff? Choose the Presidential Service and have a waiter for every table. Or for a real "wow" moment, serve a palette cleanser of sorbet brought in on swan ice sculptures. Nothing is too grand for a wedding at the Fairmont in San Francisco! The Venetian Room is where Tony Bennett first sang "I left my heart in San Francisco" - once you visit this beautiful property, you will leave your heart there too.
