Indian weddings are one of the most extravagant affairs that are celebrated no less than a festival. Every year some trends come up and leave an impression because of their uniqueness and beauty. These trends can be seen in décor, pre-wedding functions, wedding ceremony, attires or even jewelry. With the western influence on weddings, there has been an amalgamation of east meets west has resulted to addition of new colors in Indian weddings.

Previously, Indian Weddings were confined to colors like gold, red or orange even in décor as well as bridal attires. But now, time has changed that has resulted in the introduction of new tones such as white, green, yellow, pink, blue and mauve and other muted tones. These colors are not only seen in the décor or setups, but also in the wedding attires of the bride.

If we talk about the décor of the best wedding venues, the setups have become very much modern. The addition of French and Italian elements has made them look surreal and make a wedding look like a fairy tale setting. These are usually constructed as well as adorned with white elements in combination of some other contrasting colors like baby pink, mauve or even peach.

Bright colors have also taken over the pre- wedding celebrations like mehendi, sangeet and haldi functions to make them even more vibrant and fun. Yellow as well as green have become the most popular color for these kinds of celebrations. They add a pop of color to the venues and make it look like a Bollywood setting that further results in some beautiful pictures of the day.

When it comes to bridal outfits, the same colors have become a rage as brides are very much in favor of ditching shades such as red, maroon and gold. There are option for different and lighter shades such as all shades of blue, green or yellow. The millennial brides want to create a statement by choosing unique silhouettes for their outfits that too in these new colors. They want to break the stereotypes with these choices for colors.

The new colors have surely overpowered the Indian weddings in almost all ways.
