If you liked the ebook "Knot So Funny" or have been married for any length of time or are thinking about getting married, check out more unvarnished humor in the sequel ebook "Just How Long IS Ever After?", soon to be released on amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com. Here is the introduction:

Marriage is something you should really take very seriously. After all, when you took your vows at the wedding ceremony, you made some pretty significant commitments. Sure, by the end of the reception you had forgotten most of what you committed to, but that’s not a legally viable excuse. Marriage is not like signing up for something on the web, where you scroll down all the way through the lawyer mumbo-jumbo and hit the “I agree” button with no understanding whatsoever about what you just agreed.

You willingly got yourself into this boat and now you have to navigate it as well as you can, hitting as few reefs as possible.  One of the problems, however, is that now someone else is always wrestling with you for control of the helm. Erratic zig-zagging is a good strategy when someone is shooting at you, but not that productive for sailing the seas of marriage. Hello reefs.

As you read this book, you may come to the conclusion that it promotes a rather unflattering view of marriage. If so, you can take some credit for not being totally illiterate, but you should try to lighten up. Marriage can be a wonderful thing. However, like all those life-enhancing drugs you see advertised, it comes with a pretty extensive list of potential side effects (see Appendix).

If, for some reason, you are not yet married, you have two choices at this point in the book: 1) stop reading now, retain your idealistic view, bookmark this page, and finish the book in a couple of years when you can appreciate it, or 2) read on, dash any real optimism about fairy tale marriages you may be hanging onto, and consider yourself warned. Just kidding. Not really.
