During my time as a live event producer, I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting hundreds of various companies in the Wedding and Reception field...some of these relationships have spanned over 13 years!!!

And the one thing I know to be true when meeting successful companies is simply this: THEY GET IT!

They GET that they need to market their product in an effective manner to those planning a wedding.

They GET that they can achieve this by finding the need, targeting the regional demands, assessing budgetary restrictions, and by NEVER undermining their competition to the couples they are speaking to.

You can do everything right when marketing to engaged couples...but...if you start playing dirty, stealing already commited brides with 'horror stories' that are not true, 'bad mouthing' your competition to your couples.....Using 'dirty tricks'....you will simply turn the couple off from working with your company.

AND...forget referrals!!

No one will EVER refer you...because, let's face it...NO ONE WANTS THE DRAMA!!

This is a HAPPY time for brides and grooms...celebrate in that knowledge and provide the best service you can. Be conscious of what THEY need and never spoil your chances of gaining business with negative talk or lying about your competitors.
