Meeting Monique Lhullier, Darcy Miller, Silvia Weinstock, & Mark Ingram

I had the pleasure of attending Fashion's Night Out at Bloomingdale's last Thursday, September 10th. Along with me were my BridalTweet gal pals, Astrid Mueller, Juliette Senior, Lisa Barr, and Courtney Kern. It was an evening of wedding fun and the best part was being star-struck by wedding icons such as Monique Lhullier and Darcy Miller (see photo to the right). Juliette was able to get a photo with Mark Ingram (see photo below) and I briefly sat next to the famous wedding cake designer, Silvia Weinstock (see photo below). What an absolute treat?!

Darcy was as witty and gracious as ever as she interviewed Monique. We learned about Monique’s new bridesmaid line, which is priced affordably in the $285-$385 range. And she showed us how sturdy her china is as she stepped on one of her cups?! Needless to say, it remained in one piece. Brides who attended the event were able to meet with top wedding innovators such as Thom James Flower and Events and Well Spun Wedding Films.

After a few sips of wine and a ton of mingling, I took a step back and smiled. Without our new BridalTweet community, I don’t know that I would have had the chance to meet such wonderful people. A special thanks to Juliette Senior for taking these photos.
