Personal Information

How did you and your partner meet? We met through friends in High School.

How did he propose? We went to the USA for a holiday in 2015; Whilst in New York, he surprised me and proposed in the middle of snowy Central Park on my birthday.

What’s your most important piece of advice for creating and maintaining a strong relationship? Being each other’s best friend, trust, loyalty and love.

Tell us about your wedding gown and how you chose it: I actually found my wedding dress on the first day I went looking. I was looking for something simple, lace and fitted and classic. As I

tried on about 10 different styles of dresses, and this one was by far my favourite, after a few alterations it was perfect!

What sort of style did you envision for your wedding day (in terms of venue & décor + styling)? Simplistic. I went for black & white theme, with white flowers and lots of greenery.

What was your favorite moment from the day? The whole day was amazing! But it was lovely to sit in the wedding cars on the way o our photos destination, and have some time out with each other.

Any DIY décor elements? I made the bomboniere myself. I wanted something traditional from our Greek & Italian backgrounds; I bought the organza bags and white sugared almonds and put them together myself. I found these beautiful tags on Etsy which I used as a thank you note. Jason made our wishing well, what I had imagined I couldn’t find anywhere, so he made one J

If you could do it all over again, what would you change? I wouldn’t change a thing.

Any tips that you can give to future brides? To book everything as in advance as possible, most things I booked about 10 - 11 months before, and not to stress too much, everything will fall in to place.
