     Fascinating yet so stressful! There are so many aspects of this from the venue to dress and from your invitations to flowers. You have to prepare everything as you desire.

    You dreamt all your life about that moment. You want everything to be perfect.

So where to start?

    Hmmm… first you have to decide about the season. Do you want a summer wedding or a winter? A spring wedding, or a fall one? This will help you to choose your theme which will set the tone of you whole wedding.

Summer wedding: Most couples choose summer to get married.

   Good weather is a major factor of a successful wedding. An open venue for both ceremony and reception is the best choice for a summer wedding. Talking about weather, keep in mind that even in summer weather can be rainy so, take your measurements for that case: A tent which will protect people and tables so that not everything get ruined and will also be useful in protecting from the sun especially if it is a noon wedding. To avoid high temperatures you can choose to have your wedding in late evening or why not early in the morning as the days are longer during summer.

    Most people are on leave in summer, so they will be able to get there as long as you sent your Save the Dates early.

   Another benefit of a summer wedding is that you can choose flowers in your favorite colors, as there is a wide range of affordable flowers and in many colors during summer without you having to bring your favorite, off season flowers from abroad which will cost you more.

 BUT summer weddings have their disadvantages too.

    As summer is a peak wedding season and most weddings take place then you have to plan well ahead of your wedding date so that you will be able to have the venues you have in mind and desire for your wedding, church and reception place. The same goes for the photographer, DJ, florist, catering and other providers. So, it is best advised you start your search at least a year before your wedding.

    Everything will be more costly if you have your wedding in summer as most couples want the same and the competition is bigger. However, if you choose a Friday wedding you can have better prices. Also, a beach wedding theme is less formal, cheaper and everyone can be relaxed and have fun!

Tips

• Choose season’s affordable flowers such as zerbera, zinnias, sunflowers, marigold, coneflowers, along with vines such as ivy.

• An outdoors wedding on the beach, park, etc or even the backyard is a good choice.

• Start looking for your wedding dress a year ahead of your wedding. This way you will have time to look for bargains.
