One of the things I find amusing about the wedding business in Central Florida is that the fairy-tale June wedding doesn’t exist here.  For most of Florida the biggest wedding months are from September to May, with October being really busy and then February through April being super hectic as well.  Here in the Orlando area it is just too darn hot to get married in the summer, not to mention the rain chance and the possibility of hurricanes.  Of course, I have seen gorgeous weddings in August in Florida – but indoors with AC is a MUST.

The wonderful thing about this is that if a Florida bride insists on a June wedding she can usually negotiate a much reduced rate!  Many of the Orlando area wedding vendors are not booked as heavily in the summer months and therefore they are often willing to give off-peak rates to brides willing to brave the heat and humidity.

If you would like to consider a June wedding in Florida, now is the time to book.  Your Beautiful Event can assist you in finding venues with excellent, ice-cold AC, and can even give you some creative ideas for managing the heat.
