the truth about Fall bridal shows and low turnout

When talking to a few customers, I have heard the phrase 'fall bridal shows are a waste of time...I much prefer winter bridal shows'...

here's the 'thing': Anytime a company can solicit their products or services to brides one on one is a good thing....and....bridal shows, whether they be fall or winter...spring or summer...are ALWAYS a great opportunity to market directly to brides.

Now, it can be said that fall shows do not have the same turnout as winter shows...actually, this is not always true. I have experienced both huge numbers and low numbers in fall bridal shows. But...the thing to remember is....that no matter how many brides or grooms or mother of's come to the bridal show you are participating in, you should always have the mind-set that you will book and sell and generate business from every person who walks through that door.

I have seen where low turnout numbers cause a ripple effect in attitude at some bridal shows...the vendors become low-key, down, depressed...there is a sense in the air of low-spirits and non-smiling...this causes the brides and grooms who attend the event to avoid those vendors and look elsewhere for their needs.

I say...whether it's 60 brides or 1500 brides...rock it out!

Show up and show out at every event you invest your advertising dollars in. Be the best representation of your company that you have EVER been when having the opportunity to be one-on-one with your client and NEVER let the number of people in a room keep you from making money and growing your business.
