Tips To Look Extra Handsome On Your Wedding Day

There are some days and dates in your life that are forever close to our hearts and engraved in our minds. They mean the world to us, and we will never forget them. These dates hold meanings that are a huge part of our lives. They hold one of the most memorable stories. They might be of joy or of grievances, of hope or of despair. They might be your wedding date, your birthday, the birth of your child, the day you got proposed to or the date you someone or something. Whatever the occasion might be, you are not likely to forget those days ever.

On these dates, however, most of us want to be perfect and prepared for any and everything. If it is the birth of your firstborn, you need to be prepared for it. similarly, if it is your wedding day, you need to perfect. Everything needs to be perfect. You need to look your best on such a monumental day. From head to toe, you need to look as if you just walked out of a magazine. From your wedding suits to your shoes, here are the tips to look extra handsome on your wedding day.

Perfect Suit

On your wedding day, the most talked thing about you, after being the groom and the center of attention, would be the suit you are wearing and how you look. Now the first impression being the last impression, your suit needs to be perfect. A big misconception that comes with gents’ clothing is that is it easy, and men don’t need to put in as much effort as ladies. Absolutely incorrect.

You will face a lot of options when it comes to the suit you are going to wear. There are double-breasted suits, tuxedos, wedding suits, single-breasted, mandarin suits and so on. With such a wide range of options, settling down upon one is too hard. Then there will be fabric and color choices. You will have ranges of blacks, navy blues, charcoal greys, light greys, and so on. So you would have to face a storm of choices and settle upon one in each category.

Perfect Fitting

You might think that set upon a suit means your job is done. Nope. You wish it were that easy. It is time for phase 2. Once you settle upon the fabric, cut and color, you need to start with the fitting. Every person has a different body type, muscular abundance, skeletal figure, and so on. This means that nearly every groom needs to get a custom made suit that is of the perfect fitting.

Thus, be prepared for a number of visits to the tailor. He will take your measurements accordingly. He will focus on your every body part to ensure the perfect fit for your suit. You need to wear a suit in which you are comfortable. It should not be too snug that it looks awkward and restricts your movements because come on, you are going to have to dance at your wedding. Neither should it be too loose that it doesn’t look smart at all. It should be of the perfect fit where you are comfortable and look your best. Not too tight. Not too loose. That is the key.

Skin

Once your guests take in your suit and observe you from head to toe, they are going to move towards your face and analyze and score that out of a ten and trust me you need to be at least an 8 to beat the social standards. Sucks, I know. However, luckily there are a lot of ways to be an 8 and even 10.

The days before your wedding might be too stressful and cause you to break out. Thus, there are a few tips to attain the perfect glowing groom skin. Eat healthy foods a month before the wedding. Keep away from fatty and oily foods. Stick to fruits and vegetables. Drink detox water and keep away from any food item that your skin doesn’t approve of. Then comes the aid of the salon. Get facials done. Make sure your skin is devoid of any accumulated dust particles and debris. Your skin should be perfectly moisturized, so it doesn’t look dry and scaly. Hit the salons grooms!

This And That

This and that involves pretty much everything. So let us start off with hair. Hair contributes to a big chunk of your overall final look. You might be wearing designer wear and a suit of the perfect fit, but as long as your hair is a mess, none of that would matter. So its time to hit the salon again. Make sure your hair is set in place and not flying around wildly. Make the hairdresser give it a good shine and smooth look. Make him put hair wax but remember too much of everything is bad so your hair shouldn’t be too greasy and lather with hair wax either. Then comes the footwear. Like suits, you would face a lot of options for your footwear. Some would be extra lavish. I wouldn’t recommend those. Sticky with a trending design but make it simple. Choose a neutral look and make sure to break into them to avoid any foot ache on the day of the wedding because you will have to walk around a lot.

The final stop is that of scent. Make sure you smell great. You might have walked 5 steps ahead, but if your scent is good, it will linger and make the guests turn around to look at you. You want that, don’t you? Stick with a long-lasting scent, but again, it shan’t be extreme. You should go for something too strong that makes the guests cough and neither too light that nobody even knows if you are wearing a scent. Fix your hair, button your suit, put on a flashing smile. 3….2…..1… let’s do this!

Wrapping Up

The day of the wedding and the months prior to that, you will need to be doing all sorts of things. To make a perfect event, you would need to pay attention to every basic and minutest of details. From place setting to catering and venue, everything should be perfect. However, the most perfect of it all would need to be you. You need to look handsome because it is your day after all. Start grooming yourself months before the set date. Spend money on the right things and make the right choices. May you be the most handsome groom ever.
