Tri-state blizzard doesn't stop Carlyle wedding, but results in guest cancellations

A snowstorm did not prevent at least one bride and groom from tying the knot in Manhattan this past Sunday night, although it caused nine wedding guests to cancel.

The wedding was at the Carlyle hotel at 35 East 76th Street, with ceremony and cocktails in the Versailles Suite and reception in Cafe Carlyle (see photos below).

"We lost one table's worth of guests due to weather but it was still a gorgeous affair filled with love and laughter," said Danielle Venokur Greenberg, events director at L'Olivier Soirees and Galas, which handled the wedding decor.
