Turn a wedding registry into a holiday wish list

Snowboards, Monopoly and a Tory Burch bag can go on a registry

You've compiled a wedding registry and checked it more than twice, so why not make it do double duty as a holiday wish list?

“People love buying from a bridal registry because it takes the hassle out of gift giving and you know that the couple is getting something that they really wanted," said Nancy Lee, president of online gift registry, MyRegistry.com.

With MyRegistry.com, for example, brides and grooms can create a holiday gift section. Once the list is complete with items from any store accessible via the Internet, the couple can send out a holiday or personalized e-card to let family and friends know what presents they would like for their wedding, er, holiday.
