Wedding Etiquette: Choosing your wedding party

Wedding planners are great for a lot of things; one of the best services they offer is piece of mind. As a couple many will try to tell you who to and who not to choose to be in your wedding party, ultimately it is the couple’s decision but when unsure Wedding Planners have some great opinions and advice in guiding you to the right decision as a couple.

One consensus is that couples should choose members for the bridal party based on their relationship to them. The bridal party whether they’re groomsmen, bridesmaids, the maid of honour, or the best man have a responsibility before and during the wedding. You want to choose friends and family members that will openly and gladly participate.

It is also somewhat costly to be included in a bridal party. Expenses are usually covered by the individual and the last thing a bride and groom should have to worry about is a bridal party member (who is not close to either the bride or groom) complaining about the cost.
