Wedding Song Writer's Weight Journey

I weighed myself on Friday and I was down to 126 lbs.  The problem is I can lose about 4 lbs during the week but then I gain the same 4 lbs back on the weekend.  I talked with my neice and she does the same every week.  I was so careful this weekend with drinks and food so we'll see on Friday how I did, it's a constant battle every week.  With so many graduations, cookouts, wedding showers and weddings it's so hard to eat right.  Our gatherings are surrounded by food and booze.  LOL  Then the more fun you have the more you drink, the more you drink, the more you eat.  When I tried on my shorts and capri's from last year and only one pair fit I said out loud to my MIL, "I need to buy bigger pants or get serious about my eating habits". She laughed.  I ended up buying one pair of capri's to hold me over till some of this weight comes off.  I only gained 10 lbs but when it's all in your hips and theighs you can't get your pants over your theighs.  When I was in the dressing room trying on capri's there were two other ladies complaining about their weight and not being able to find shorts that fit.  We were all talking out loud to ourselvesand and it started to get funny.  I think most women struggle with their weight and try to find a way to lose or maintain.  When I see those people on The Biggest Loser I give them a lot of credit trying to lose 100+ lbs.  I would look at it that it was a lost battle and I don't know if I could do what they do.  But, I can see how that 100+ lbs creeps up on you.  You gain 10 then another 10 then another 20 and when you wake up to a huge weight gain you don't know how it happened.  Good luck to all you brides and grooms with trying to look perfect for your wedding day.  I was married at 18 and still married, yes, to the same guy.  I didn't have any weight issues at 18.  It started when I had kids at 21.  My youngest is 30 now and I can't blame excess weight on baby fat.  LOL  The journey continues.........
