What if it RAINS on my Wedding Day??

This is probably the number one question asked when planning a Beach or outdoor Wedding. With all that we can control, the weather is the one thing we can't. But not to worry, it does rain and couples still get married and it's a happy day for all.

First, you need to know that we don't get much rain on the Emerald Coast and when we do it's usually a quick blast that's over in 15 minutes. With 150 Ceremonies last year we had rain impact the event about 8 times. So the odds are good that you'll have a perfect day.

In the unlikely event of rain on your day, we first look at the forecast and radar to determine if the rain will be all day ( very rare ) or just a quickie. Often we simple adjust the time of the Ceremony to avoid any weather. Being a small company, we can be very flexible on this. If it looks like we're not going to be able to make it around the rain, the options are to re-schedule for another day or change the location so we're protected. This can be a pavilion on the beach or the patio / balcony of your house, condo or hotel. Even the lobby may work. We've always been able to find great alternatives when needed.

OR we can just get married in the rain! It's just WATER!!!

So we always suggest having a back-up plan but not to stress over the weather. At the end of the day you WILL be MARRIED!!!
