Why spend more on your engagement rings when you can afford the same at the price of your ordinary dress?

Introduction

There usually is this rule of  "two months " salary that states that if a  partner wants to buy an engagement ring for a  wedding one has to save his salary for two months to buy that engagement that  He will give to his wedding partner. This means that if your salary is five thousand dollars per month you will have to spend ten thousand dollars to buy an engagement ring for your partner.

However, this can be very much expensive to majority of people. There are  people who depend on only their salary  for their  livelihood. This means  that  they  cannot be  able to save their salary of two months in  order to buy an engagement ring for their partners. However, one can spend just little money on buying an engagement ring for their partner than spend a lot of money. The diamond industry wants people to spend more. Synthetic diamonds are flooding the market. When a man decides to propose to his girlfriend. He should first do research or otherwise, He might increasingly get frustrated.

He should ask himself questions like for example

  • Do I really need to save two months’ salary?
  • Is this jeweler going to rip me off?

Some sites  on  Google search tell men to do their research and find out the ring size of their partners  and then  pick their  budget . When a man meets a woman an engagement ring can be important to her. She may not mention the size or cost of the ring she wants. She will want a nice ring that may be ethically sourced. Getting married is one of the biggest financial decisions one will probably ever make. One should make sure that He starts his new life on solid financial ground. Every single comment about engagement rings focuses on saving money. There are plenty of ways to save money on a ring. One can find them on many articles where people race to the bottom of how little they spent then them bàrag about it. An engagement ring is a unique gift, which a man in consultation with his partner decide on. If one wants to spend one hundred dollars on a ring then it is great and if one wants to spend fifty thousand dollars then it is also great.

Some people will prefer a ring that was passed down from their mother. Others prefer an ultra- modern ring, or a heritage design, or an oval shape. All of these people who have different choices may have great marriages. One should not focus solely on the price but should also focus on the value of the gift which ultimately one decides. One should consider what his partner wants but ultimately He should decide.

However, one should not only focus on finding the cheapest engagement ring but also focus on finding the ring that is perfect for his partner. It is shocking how little people are willing to talk about rings. You would think that if you want to marry someone it would be okay to go shop with them and help them identify the ring they want the most. There are sales mechanisms that the rings industry has created to encourage one to spend more. These include creating their own rating system that is cut, color, clarity and carat.

Another mechanism is creating their own governing body and even their own set of rituals and phrases ("A diamond is forever"). Salespeople can continuously tell a person that everything is of extreme quality regardless of price. Eighty percent of the work is done before you set foot in a jewelry shop. If one walks in and is not sure  of what to recommend  then one is going to be taken for a ride and end up being one of those guys who gets bitter about the process. Average process, average results. But if one arms himself with information, this can actually be fun. There are a lot of dub steps beneath each step. Most of the work is done before one ever got to the “Buy ring" step. If you get those early steps right, and the rest is just details. You should start from zero. Look at your own financial situation to decide what you can comfortably afford. Depending on income if you ask most readers, people typically spend between four percent and eight percent of their yearly income. Two months’ salary is sixteen percent, so you should start by getting a general price down. It could be one thousand dollars to three thousand dollars with room stretch to three thousand five hundred dollars. So it could be around ten thousand dollars or even forty thousand dollars to sixty thousand dollars. Whatever it is, know it and remember it. A general number helps because when you walk into a store.

You are not a mark, you are in control. You would not ask a salesman what kind of car you should buy. You should do your homework first. Do the same thing for your engagement ring. It is important that you have a conversation with your partner. You should ask her what kind of ring she would want. You should be willing to open up the conversation and ask. You should talk about the finances. You should ask her about the ring size. By asking your partner questions you allow them to lead the conversation and create a really positive experience. Talk about the budget of the type of the ring she wants and if you cannot afford to buy her the kind of ring she wants tell her based on your budget you cannot afford  to buy the kind of ring she wants but you are going to find the most perfect ring to signify your relationship. This shows that you are honest about the situation but also considerate of what she wants.

In conclusion, price matters when buying an engagement ring.
