Exotic and beautiful destinations for your honeymoon next summer

Some things you shouldn't compromise on, like your honeymoon, since it's an event you won't ever repeat. It should be equally important for both of you, and choosing the perfect destination might sometimes require you to reach a middle ground, especially if you look for different things on your vacation.

Nevertheless, these four exotic and unique destinations shouldn't be the case. They're sure to give you a wonderful time and allow you to create unforgettable memories. There, peace and fun are at home, so you can rest assured knowing you won't get bored and will make full use of your money.

There are many other beautiful places in this vast world, but only hearing about them is not enough. Discover four breath-taking destinations and see what place from this list wins your heart.

Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast is a popular tourist destination due to its stunning coastline, breathtaking views and pristine blue Mediterranean waters. Summer is one of the best times to visit Italy, but it is also the busiest time for tourists.

You can plan a vacation in Amalfi ahead of time so that your travel and transportation are well organized and affordable. You can walk along the shore, take boat tours and enjoy regional tours.

Some places are best to include on your Amalfi Coast itinerary, such as:

  • Amalfi. It's the largest city along the coast, perched at the mouth of a deep gorge. It is an ideal starting point for excursions to Capri and the Grotta Dello Smeraldo, and The "Sant'Andrea" Cathedral in Amalfi is unmissable.
  • Positano and Ravello. These are must-see destinations, as Positano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is steeped in history and one of the most abundant holiday destinations. Ravello is the site of the Ravello Festival and has been designated as the City of Music.
  • Praiano. The sunsets in the heart of the Amalfi coast are spectacular, and The Church of San Luca Evangelista is a must-see in Rome.
  • Sorrento. In the summer, this beautifully serene town comes to life. It would be best to explore the medieval churches' beautiful frescoes or hike along the Sorrentine Peninsula trails. As you soak in the sea breeze, sip a limoncello, iced coffee, or gelato.

The Turks and Caicos Islands

The Turks and Caicos Islands are a tropical archipelago of 40 cays and islets with just over 53,000 people, most of whom live on the island of Providenciales. They've been receiving significant recognition, including multiple World Travel Awards for World's Leading Beach Destination and top rankings in Trip Advisor's World's Best Beaches. The best part is that this place is a fantastic year-round destination, and its high season typically lasts from December to March, the dry months in the Caribbean.

You shouldn't compromise on things like spending quality time and creating unbelievable memories on your honeymoon. To make the most of your vacation, you shouldn't leave these islands without experiencing a cruise on a luxurious yacht. And it's best to choose a top-notch yacht charter company because their professional staff is specialized in all the activities that such opportunity brings about:

  • Luxurious or common beverages
  • Fine dining
  • Cliff jumping
  • Scuba diving
  • Snorkeling
  • Visiting the islands' abandoned shipwrecks.

Because lush yachts have more chances to run out of available seats, it's recommended to book in advance. By booking early, you will also select the best date, especially if you're planning a vacation during the peak season (July and August), as these months are usually the most popular.

Don't be surprised if you want to make visiting these islands a ritual because you won't be the only tourists returning for the beautiful water and luxury experience.

Sable Island

Sable Island is a wild and windswept sand island that sits far out in the North Atlantic, with its iconic crescent shape rising from the horizon. This is one of Canada's most remote and isolated offshore islands. The landscape is dominated by shifting dunes, among the largest in Eastern Canada. There you'll see wild horses roaming freely and extensive beaches home to the world's largest breeding colony of gray seals. Freshwater ponds allude to the life-sustaining freshwater lens that floats beneath the island. Plants, birds, and insects have adapted to life on Sable, with some species found nowhere else on the planet.

Sable Island has a rich and fascinating human history that dates back over four centuries. Here you'll see submerged sandbars around the island, rough seas and fog, which led to the wreckage of more than 350 vessels and earned the site the title of "Graveyard of the Atlantic". In 1801, Canada's first life-saving station was built here. You can understand why Sable Island is a testament to perseverance in the face of adversity.

The Maldives

The images with over-the-water bungalows might be enough to get you hooked up on the idea of visiting the Maldives, but have you thought of other things to do there besides relaxing? The Maldives is made for romance and adventure, with its abundance of marine life, but you can also enjoy the following activities there:

- Explore the capital city of Male and the surroundings

- Do scuba diving in the crystal-clear water – you won't need a wetsuit there

- Snorkel with sea turtles and colorful fish like you're in an aquarium

- Go on a "dolphin excursion", they're very playful, and your captain will help you find them

- Visit the nearby local communities and islands and dress respectably because these sites follow a strict Muslim culture.

Extra tip!

Have you ever thought of that beautiful and unique part of Europe - the Balkans?

Albania is one of Europe's least visited countries, which is a shame given that this friendly country lies across the Adriatic Sea from Italy and directly above Greece and has a thriving nightlife.

If you want to check more popular European destinations, here is a list of widely visited attractions you might like:

  • Kotor, Montenegro
  • Transylvania, Romania
  • Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia
  • Lake Bled, Slovenia
  • Mostar, Bosnia
  • Ljubljana, Slovenia
  • Durmitor National Park, Montenegro.
