We're still working on getting to 300 likes on Facebook, but also working on getting to know everyone better. Really enjoying checking out everyone's FB pages and seeing some amazing talent!

Like us at http://www.facebook.com/blueskycollection

and we are happy to do the same :)

I'm an old dog and trying to learn some new tricks. So, I'm embarking upon a facebook fan page ad campaign. When it kicks in, I'm hoping those brides who are liking my page will see a higher number of "likes" than not, reflecting the notion there are other "intelligent individuals" who are also fans. I'm concluding that that will help create the impression my page has good value. (Of course, I'm aiming to feature interactive, attractive and useful content. Actual value.) So... if any Bridal Tweet co-members are so inclined: check out my present "Landing Page" and like me (using your personal facebook account), and I'll forthwith reciprocate using mine. By the way, on the landing page is a 49 second page-related video I created just for the page that I think will give you a smile. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fun-at-Your-Wedding/138792896219238

If all people want are likes without regard to engaging users/friends/likes/fans/FB flavor of the day, i graciously recommend a trip over to fiverr and buy as many likes as one wants.

I understand the rational of having more "likes" gives you more perceived "social value" but how long that "social value" lasts in a users eyes I personally think diminishes rather quickly.

I could be completely wrong too...

The People Talking About metric will gauge and measure all user-initiated activity that pertains to a Facebook page. The areas that the new metric will include are:

  • Likes
  • Posts (Page’s Wall)
  • Shares (Deals, Pages, Content)
  • Comments
  • Mentions (Pages)
  • Answers to a Question Posted
  • Checking in at a Location
