Even the best intentioned bride can be a challenge sometimes, and I'm trying to help wedding pros have less stress. I'm developing a wedding mediation practice and would love your feedback. Very quick survey - just 3 minutes. Thanks!

Lots of amazing photographers here! Wow. I'm sure none of you would end up on my blog -- where I feature awkward wedding and engagement photos brides and brides to be submit to their local newspapers. If you are in need of a quick laugh, please stop by! Thanks! http://www.thecelebrationsgame.wordpress.com

I do my own retouching, but know of a couple really good services that can do it for you. One is http://www.editteam.com They charge by the event, for weddings their basic package is around $379. The other is http://www.pwdlabs.com and they charge by the photo. Image selection is $.06 per image submitted and $.22/image for basic correction and $.26/image for advanced.

He Stephanie, great comment, thank you!
Kemmeo, I do my retouching my-self. However, I actually do not like very smooth portraits; just a little bit color correction, exposure and crop. That's it. In addition; I experienced that, you have to have same color temperature for everyshot retouched, it is a complete wedding set.

Do you do your own retouching or do you hire someone else to? If you hire someone else, what is the going rate in your area? I'm talking about someone that you send your edited RAW images to who then color corrects them and does light retouching for you to then post.

Actually I do not have a prime wide angle lens, I have 12-24 from Sigma.
I am not sure about the performance in low light. Thanks god I use D700 with really good high ISO performance.
I feel really bad, because a good friend of mine just sold his wide angle almost half the price :) MOreove,r I hleped him to sell it .

Have you ever been caught in a small space with only a 50mm? I would certainly add a wide angle, 16-34mm, at least. As more and more people crowd your subject you will have some options.

Yes add a wide and the 50 the 70-200 can be for the portraits after might look dramatic in back round light--- nice---or for the accessories during the ceremony. Sounds lovely though! you must show them off afterwards...:)

Serkan I would use the 70-200 and the 50, but add in a wide angle for that small restaurant.

A 18-200 MM GIVES YOU MORE FLEXABILITY WHEN SHOOTING WDDINGS.
