Since the budget has become a huge factor, one of my brides used my Wedding box as her centerpieces on tables and guests could put money and cards inside right at the table!

most of the brides need education - yes, they are shopping around, but they only go with the lower price because of a lack of information. Once I speak to them and explain why they need a professional and also be willing to work with them, they are more willing to book...

The majority of the brides I meet with are concerned about their budgets (of course), which are smaller than last year's brides. They still want fresh flowers, but are afraid they will not be able to have something beautiful with less money. Also, a lot of brides are using what their reception site offers for centerpieces as alternatives to floral arrangements.

We posted the results of our bridal show survey today. 58% of our readers have been to a bridal show. Of those that have not been, 60% plan on going to one in the future.

To find out what percentage of our readers booked a vendor they met at the show, and to hear what they consider to be the major pros and cons of attending a bridal show check out the full results here.

My potential clients are shopping around. I find that talking to them, verses emailing them quotes~ or texting. Produces more clients. Email can be so impersonal, for the client, and myself. I think personality sells! they can get comfortable with, and you with them. After all , us Vendors are a major factor in their Big Day. We should be more a part of the group, not just a Vendor.

After meeting with potential clients, I'm finding that they are defiantly wanting a smaller and more intimate settings, ceremony and receptions all in one place, cutting cost in transportation, floral, and applying ceremony decor into reception elements,They are shopping wisely, and are looking at the bigger picture as to applying savings to future home buying.
