The idea for The Green Gown Wedding Boutique was inspired by my own wedding dress. After the collapse of my marriage I was left with a gorgeous gown that I didn’t know what to do with. “It’s too beautiful,” I thought, “to just throw away or donate to the local Good Will.” After all, it wasn’t the dress that had let me down. I wanted my gown to make someone else feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. But how to find the right bride? I thought, there must be other women out there looking to recycle their wedding dresses and what a great opportunity that would be for new brides looking to save money on their wedding day. And so, The Green Gown Wedding Boutique was born.
