The largest mistake a newly engaged couple makes is the assumption that an elaborate wedding means an elaborate budget. A properly planned wedding can be quite cost effective. It’s simple prioritization.
Lists, lists, and more lists. Write out the necessities for your wedding. Venue, menu selection, music and photographer are some of the most shared necessities amongst couples planning their wedding. They are also items that should be taken care of well in advance of the…

Using Confetti and Streamers might be a bit overwhelming if you’ve never had the opportunity to use them before. Don’t worry, it’s actually very simple.
Dimensions of the area you want the effect in:

Brides are asking this question these days, and it’s an important one. My opinion is, if it’s a special and unique gift that people will actually keep and appreciate – then yes, they are worth it.
I’ve never understood using “throw away” or edible favors. Isn’t the point to give your guests something special that they will remember your wedding by?
Earlier this year, we expanded our products from holiday bells to include wedding bells because we felt that this meaningful,…

You have been rushing, preparing all day, your heart racing with anticipation. "Does the dress still fit after the last fitting?", "Where is My MOM!?", "Is the Groom here yet?", "Does he look nervous?". A million things run through your mind, not one of them pertains to the florist, caterer, your dream wedding cake or the comfort of your arriving guests. These details are being taken care of for you, your only concern is you, looking your best and celebrating your love. Your father stands a few…

When you think of Southern Plantations of the old south and the Civil War your minds eye immediately takes you to "Tara" and the most famous of all Plantation movie scenes in the history of Hollywood. Rhett Butler, Scarlett O'Hara, fog, dramatic music, elaborate wardrobes and an era of true romance that has captured the hearts of generations of lovers. I can't think of a more fitting venue in which to celebrate love than one that has as rich a history of creating romance as Heaven on…

As a wedding photography studio based in two cities (Atlanta and Boston) we have two distinct seasons. For New England, this late April weekend is traditionally the start of the wedding season. So for all our New England colleagues, here's to a great 2009 season. We had so much fun last night photographing a beautiful event at the Boston Harbor Hotel. We are looking forward to connecting with many fantastic New England wedding vendors over the next few months.

Most of you are from the States I see, I have visited the US quite a lot and love your country to bits! I'm interested to see how we can make…

We shot these 2 last Saturday in Chino Hills, kind of a random place but it worked out great! A lot of the area suffered burn damage so finding some green grass made me want to high five a pony! We shot in a burnt down house which was an ordeal to get to! Luckily, Grayson knows the number one rule: if I fall, save the camera first! So after jumping fences, getting stung by stinging nettles (as I always seem to do), walking up and down muddy hills and walking through rusty nails, (luckily no…

Meet Heather and Adam, a couple from Bakersfield. We shot downtown and it was great! Grayson shot with me and we had this whole game plan, it was fan-freakin-tastic! Oh and I found a sweet button on the ground in the alley, free! I loved that they let me do whatever I wanted and didn't question a single thing, no matter how dirty their butts had to get! Haha. Here are a few of my favorite images!…
