With the lifestyle we lead and all the pollution and junk food, you can't afford to be very careless a week before the shoot. You have to switch to a better lifestyle.

Well, firstly you need to say “goodbye” to those greasy fries, burgers, and coke for a week. You don’t want to look bloated, right? Plus, such food also leads to acne and other skin issues.  So gorge on some fresh fruits, boiled veggies, drink lots of water and make sure you eat on time. Do not stay up late and ditch the caffeine! This would ensure a healthy, natural glow from within. It would also make your hair look healthy. As an Austin Boudoir Photographer, I always suggest my clients follow this.

Secondly, find out the theme that you should go for. Whether you want to pose as a sexy nerd or a sultry siren – it is up to you. But you have to shop accordingly! People go for various kinds of themes these days, such as Gothic, farm girl, geeky, mysterious, etc. You have to make sure that the one you choose suits your personality. Your Seattle Boudoir Photographer can help you take the decision.

You should also visit the parlor to get your usual waxing, manicure, pedicure, etc. done. But get them done at least a day before the shoot day. Does your hair need root touch-up? If yes, then get it done. Nail extensions are also a thing, so it can be done too if you want to pamper yourself to the fullest.

The day before the wedding, make sure your skin isn’t dry. Moisturize it from time to time. You can also check YouTube for some DIYs and make yourself a nice sugar or coffee scrub. Make sure your skin is smooth and supple. And as I mentioned earlier, you need to drink lots of water and fresh fruit juice. Maintain a healthy diet for the healthiest glow ever. If you are thinking of going for a tan, make it done by a professional. Do not try your hands at it as it might end up looking cheap and fake.

Before the shoot day, take some time out to go through Pinterest and practice some of the poses in front of the mirror, which you think would complement you in the best possible ways. Place your hands in ways that would flatter your body type. I am sure your Chicago Boudoir Photographer would guide you through this.

I hope all these suggestions would make your session a better one. Thank me later!
