Today, we are getting ready for a big feast so this will be a short post. Food has really been on our mind for the last few days, as we have been working away on our extensive holiday menu, and since food is the main topic around everyones home today, what better time to talk about wedding food.

Some couples choose to have a buffet dinner and some choose to have a sit-down dinner. This decision is dependent on what suits the needs and desires of the wedding couple. However, if you are hosting a sit-down reception, you will want to ask your guests to choose their dinner selection in advance {such as on a selection card tucked into the invitation}.

Regardless of the presentation, you will want to be sensitive to your guests possible dietary restrictions or allergies when selecting your meal options. Make sure to have a few vegetarian friendly selections {a fish option may not always suffice} and speak with your catering chef about their capability to create a vegan option, if necessary. Also, pay attention to ingredients such as peanuts, milk products, and shellfish when selecting your food options. Know to always label ingredients that commonly trigger allergic reactions.
