So! Your girl is getting married during a recession..MOH on a budget ;)

Being the Maid of Honor is like being the "supporting actress" in this Wedding Day movie! And one of the most exciting jobs is planning the Bridal Shower of the Year, without breaking the bank!

As the Maid of Honor - you should have a few "maids" to help you! keyword - delegate ;) Plan a day for everyone to meet for coffee (hey, everyone has a coffee maker) and talk about budget and start throwing ideas around! (trust me on this...) The less you have the BRIDE involved, the better! All she needs to do is hand over the guestlist.

Since there are so many formal events going on, you can make this as fun as you like! You know your bride, let that be your guide - then the next step is to find out how much money you all can put together to assist in making this event special.

Some ideas are: Plan a garden party - clean up that back yard (lol) and have at it! Everyone has talents, find out what's offered from your "maids" and be creative as possible!

Remember to stick with a theme - be it a color - a song - a picture - whatever inspires you!

Is your BRIDE a beach babe? Plan a picnic on the beach - start planning early so you can visit stores to collect centerpieces (and not always flowers) - make it funky! keep it fun!

Is your BRIDE a tea lover? plan a tea tasting at her favorite spot - then dinner afterwards - plan it in the evening on a Sunday, after everyone has had dinner ;)

Remember, this is about what your BRIDE likes, what's easy, and what fits in YOUR budget, she will love you for it! Either way it goes!!

...Have a coordinated day!
