mix and match

Well, why not have some fun , let your imagination go wild and dream up the most amazing wedding colour combos using tools available online and at the home.

Go Wild

Any art store sells samples pot and canvases. Invite your girlfriends round - crack open a couple of pots of paint and see what happens when you mix, and mix again. Of course the colours get louder (as do you) with a couple of reds and whites (not the paint kind) -!

Go totally Wild (only for home owners)

Got a white wall spare? Take the first option and go crazy coming up with new and exciting colours splashing a bit of this and that on the wall. Make sure you have a lot of white for the paint job the morning after.

Go Wild Online

Davids Bridal (An American Company) give you the opportunity to Dress Your Wedding and create a bridal party including Mother and Father of the Bride and Groom and match colours. You can even go so far as to select the skin tones of your party to see how certain colours react. Word to the wise, the "woman" body shape is highly unflattering and you have to register to use this service.

Somewhat tricker to navigate is Resene Paint but offers over 3,000 colour swatches to interact with. Find the colours you love and grab the CYMK code to share with designers matching you colour scheme perfectly with your invites and seating plan.

Get Healthy and Find Inspiration

Go for a walk! While you rewarding your body with some fresh air, and helping tone those buttocks you may just find a pebble or puppy in the perfect shade. Check with the owner before rushing the puppy to the nearest cloth shop!
