Ok, so I"d just decided to name my wedding mediation business, DramaFreeWedding.com when another fabulous name popped up: PositivelyWed.com

Honestly, I like both. Which name best attracts you and why?

a) DramaFreeWedding.com

b) PositivelyWed.com

My choice of taglines :
1) Thoughtful solutions for wedding woes

2) Thoughtful solutions for drama free weddings

I can't move on to craft marketing copy until this decision is made, and I sorely need the help. My brain is on summer vacation. Thanks so much. (and hey, if you have any suggestions or issues with this, I'm all ears.)

they are both nice but I like DramaFreeWedding.com which tells exactly what you provide. and the tag line (1) thoughtful solutions for wedding woes. but either tag line would work. if your tag line and business name are similar, people are more inclined to remember it! good luck

Personally I like "Positively Wed.com".. I feel that in general, but especially when talking about people's weddings, that you should accentuate the positive. In naming your business "DRAMAFreeWedding.com" You're still pointing out negative right in your title.

You want people to be attracted to the positivity of the name of your business. "PositivelyWed" is a "Thoughtful solution for your wedding woes".

When I see that, I personally think of you being a positive and thoughtful person. Quite frankly THAT'S who I would want helping me out with my wedding:)

Just my two cents:)
Good luck in choosing!

Hi Dina,

PositivelyWed.com is my choice. In my opinion, the word drama condures up "drama", and although negative things may happen along the way during the planning process, the overall experience a bride wants to have is a positive one. I also prefer your 1st tag line. I hope this helps. Good luck with your business.
You guys are great. Thanks so much for the really specific feedback. You all argued both sides so well that I'm stuck again. When I ask myself, 'how would a planner feel about recommending a company called Drama Free?' I can't see it happening. Drama as a word just has a negative connotation that can't be denied. And, just like conflict, no one really want to admit they face it. Soooooo....I"m gonna split the difference!

The site will be PositivelyWed.com, Thoughtful solutions for a drama free wedding Uplifting and descriptive. Because positivelywed is already taken on Twitter, my handle there is DramaFreeWeddin (couldn't fit the darn g) My hope is that all this wordsmithing will attract brides (and planners) who are positive, open to change and want help feeling more empowered.

Pat, Stacey, Julie, and Cristina, your help means so much I hope you'll let me show my appreciation. I'll send a note to your personal mailboxes.
