Snap Happy!

OMG two days of fun in the sun! I don’t know about you, but I think I need a moment to sit down, not sure my system can take these unexpected levels of UV Rays, I’m simply not prepared damn it! lol I know I being dramatic, it’s not as if the temperatures are hitting carribean levels here, but they might as well be considering it’s was literally this time last month that it was snowing! trust me, one doesn’t forget working at a wedding in MARCH and having to hand out brollies to the wedding guest because it was SNOWING! lol

SO enough about me, how are you? have you been out enjoying this patch of good weather, if you haven’t I suggest to you step to it quick quick, because London weather changes quicker than some celeb’s change their husbands!… ahem no names mentioned…. But really though there is nothing better than waking up, opening you curtains and being greeted by a glorious day, just leaves you feeling so revitalised and refreshed and just raring to go! day’s like this are priceless and photo worthy!

Talking of photo’s, this leads me very nicely onto this weeks ‘Supplier of the Week’ Groovybooth (the more observant of you may notice a slight change in the schedule, I was due to talk to you this week about John Natlacen of Churchmouse Cheeses and his cheese cakes, but the lovely John is currently swamped with orders and business, so I will be bringing you a post about him real soon, WATCH THIS SPACE) OK so back to Groovybooth! as I’m sure you have already guessed, they are supplier’s of ultra funky, ultra cool and ultra groovy photobooths! lolStylish Events have worked with the lovely James and the Groovybooth team at 3 of our past events including the UKAWP ‘Mix and Mingle’ night back in September and highly reccomend them for any parties, events or weddings you may have coming up. Groovy booth have fast become a industry favourite and have seen their booths featured at a few celeb studded events or two like Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball and The X Factor After Show Wrap Party! not too bad eh?!

Photobooths have now become the ‘MUST-HAVE’ addition to all events! which is no suprise considering we’ve now become a photo-mad generation. Every happy, funny and even strange moment has to be captured instantly on our new-fandangled techie phones and whats more you can now instantly share your moments with the world via facebook, twitter and recently instagram! it’s how we communicate and share our lives with the world – so why should it stop there, why not bring the photo-fun to your big day? Photobooths are great fun, it’s seems to bring out the inner child in all of us! trust me having worked at a few events with Groovybooth, I’ve seen full grown adults come over all silly and kiddy’ish (myself included) at the sight of a photobooth and the crazy props you get to dressed up in!

How did Groovy Booth come about?:

“I was a wedding photographer always looking for something new and exciting to offer couples. I spotted a photo booth at a wedding in the US and thought, I can do that! I built a booth in my garage and tried it out at a few weddings. It was an instant hit and very quickly the photography was taking a back seat. The home made booth was a great test-bed, but we needed something bigger, stronger & better so we worked with a designer to create a custom built booth. I added in professional quality photo equipment and studio lighting, Groovybooth was born!”

“Quality, Reliability & Experience. Coming from a professional photography background, quality is really important to me. We spent countless hours in development ensuring the picture quality from the groovybooth is outstanding. Many of our competitors supply flimsy photo booths that may at a glance look similar to the groovybooth but in reality are very different. Just looking at their websites you can see the difference in the picture quality but what you can’t see is the build quality. Shockingly we’ve heard more than once of booths collapsing halfway through a wedding reception.
