Photography details make a difference

I always love it when a photographer sends me pictures to post. I especailly adore the detail shots of intimate and special scenes that are not posed and caught in the passion of the moment. Carrie from Geno Photography does a great job capturing those pictures that make you sigh and smile. Her work is magical and I always look forward to sharing them with you. Here is some of her amazing work.

Kez is a young marriage celebrant based in Newcastle

Inspired by Masterchef 2009 last year I made a croquembouche. Yes, it's as difficult to make as it is spell.

It took me 6 hours and I had to repeat one part of the recipe because I burnt the toffee to a cinder. It tasted amazing! After all the sweat, the near tears and the sore back I had a…

{ Adam & Sarah } Engagement Session :: Downtown Memphis

We had the wonderful pleasure of shooting Engagement Portraits for Sarah and Adam. This couple has a truly amazing and inspiring story. Adam was hurt in a forklift accident, and ended up having his leg amputated below the knee. Sarah was always at the hospital, at the side of Adam. After Adam's recovery and throughout physical therapy, Sarah was a constant companion. Adam proposed to Sarah Jan. of this year, and they began to plan their May wedding.

Pinstripe Your Wedding

Pinstriping has long been fashionable as a paint-scheme on classic cars, motorcycles, and even 18-wheelers. Today's brides are stepping out of the box a bit more than their traditional counterparts, and that means

Pinstriping started off as very fine lines of paint or vinyl tape on the body of cars in the 1950's. Today it has evolved into an art form that merges lines and colors on a variety of materials from steel to paper to… Continue

Honoring Our Loved Ones

Chris and I are very close to both of our families. Each of us has experienced a painful loss within our immediate families in the past. My father passed away in August of 2005, and Chris sadly lost his

brother unexpectedly a few years before that. We wish they could be

with us to celebrate our special day with us, but since they aren’t

able to, we planned to do something special to honor them at our

wedding.

One day while browsing wedding blogs online, I came… Continue

The Etiquette of wedding gift giving

Gift giving for a wedding is not always easy. Especially when many couples are now marring later in life, having been on their own for a few years and have an established home at the time of the marriage, or are combining households when they get married. The traditional wedding gifts at this stage no longer apply. In this case we suggest locating a gift registry that will allow people to put a percentage or a monetary amount towards a gift, effectively combining their purchasing power on… Continue
